The Sewing School

The Sewing Schools are the backbone of Asociación Tkéna's work. This is where the magic begins. Sewing classes are not just about learning to sew. They are about learning to accept challenges, setting goals, teamwork, persistence, and discovering your own potential. These are the first piece of Instituto Tkéna which we are working hard to grow into a thriving community for learning and sharing.

The Schools of Sewing is a development project where it is technically based on classes from basic sewing level for anyone who wants to learn, the curriculum is divided into courses of approximately three months duration, the entire curriculum for complete the first level of Sewing Schools. Since it is a social assistance program, the student selection method will be done through an admission process where the participants will be called to interviews where a study will be done if they actually apply for the program or it would not be the most favorable option for help. for this.

This program has approximately two years of lessons where they will learn everything related to design, cutting and sewing, courses such as pattern making, casual clothing, underwear, home designs, sportswear, haute couture and others are the courses that are offered at this stage of sewing classes where people will learn through face-to-face classes at least once a week and with work or tasks to do during the week.
